Description: Although manufactured in Finland this is a copy of the Third Swedish edition. 156 pages, illustrated throughout with vignettes and half/full page illustrations by the author. Priced in Swedish kroner at the rear. Rubbed/slightly bumped at the corners and along the edges of the boards, and a few minor scrapes to the surface of both covers. The block is reasonably fresh and not browned. Free from owner names etc, there is a small stain to the margin of page 13 see picture). Signed in blue ink by Tove Jansson at the front endpaper and very rare, thus.
