Description: This is a fun item for anyone who collects trilobites or who would like to collect trilobites! It is a lot of 4 different types of genuine trilobites from Morocco, North Africa. There is a Reedops (1 3/4 inches in length), a Crotalocephalus (1 inch), a Flexicalymene (4 inches), and a Proteus (1 inch). These make a great gift for anyone who likes to collect fossils!There may be repairs or a small amount of glue present on some of the trilobites. The reason for this is because of the way some trilobites are found. Before preparation, some trilobites are encapsulated in very hard rock. Trilobite diggers will crack pieces of rock and look for any evidence of a trilobite inside. After breaking the rock, if they see part of a trilobite inside, they will glue the rock back together and then carefully prepare the trilobite out of the rock. It's the fact that they are encapsulated in rock that allows them to often find trilobites with great anatomical details preserved. Many of these repairs are difficult to see or are inconspicuous, but some are easily seen.
