Description: This listing is for a Vintage Mid 20th Century (1940-1969) Covered Soup Tureen standing on an Underplate approximately 10" tall to the top of the knob, 11" in length, 8" wide, includes a ladle and was in manufacture during the 1960s. Crafted by Trimont Ware in Japan, this hand decorated ceramic transferware soup tureen is all dressed up in a Floral Paradise design Asian Rose pattern complete with parrots which can only be properly described through pictures! Ready, set and definitely able, this tureen lies in wait to serve up some soup prior to the main course at your next dinner party or potluck. The condition of this piece is VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT with NO chips, cracks, crazing, fading or any other visual imperfections. This is a used piece so there is some minor usage wear & tear (manufacturing flaw one side transferware, usage wear underside of underplate) consistent with its vintage age.
