Description: Intriguing lot of two (2) 20th century Iranian Persian art paintings from Tehran Hayrapetyan Art Gallery. Both are hand painted on what appears to be ceramic, porcelain or some other hard surface backing medium and are in good condition. One painting depicts a hunt scene with riders on horseback chasing their quarry. The other a Persian wise man at rest enjoying a satisfying beverage. Both paintings are matted and framed, one is signed. The hunt scene painting, showing gold paint, measures 8-9/16 inches in height and 12-7/8 inches in length framed with a sight view of 4" x 6-5/16".The other painting measures 8-5/8 inches in height and 6-5/8 inches in length framed with a sight view of 4-3/4" x 3-1/8".
