Description: Here up for sale is a used Tyco Speedways Camaro Z-28 molded in orange, Tyco part #S641 from 1969. Missing the chrome bumpers. The white stripe shows wear, and paint has been applied to the front and back ends as shown. The hood has a melt distorted area from where a weight was once glued underneath the hood. The chassis has some red paint added to the bottom rear as shown. Motor has good rpms but the car usually requires frequent pushes or taps to keep it running. Missing the rear chassis weight piece. Might be useful for possible restoration or just tinkering. Body once had red stripes and chrome bumpers, but those have been stripped off leaving the reddish-orange bumper plastic behind. Right corner of rear bumper has a missing portion. Window posts are broken and missing portions as shown. Stress cracks are present in the body plastic showing as darker areas, and the left rear wheel well has some cut marks. Front screw post has a crack about 1/8" down, and rear screw post has a portion missing extending 7/32" down. Be gentle especially with the rear screw post to avoid further damage. Guide pin is somewhat shorter than stock length.The chassis will run although slowly and noisily, only after the motor is warmed up by lifting the rear wheels off the track and running the motor in that position awhile. Will require a push sometimes. Missing the rear chassis weight piece. Might be possible for you to get it running better with some work or replaced parts.
