Originally, and still crated in pairs until sold, these tanks have never been exposed to moisture corrosion, etc. and are in excellent, unused, new condition. Tanks come with pickup straw, nylon Pickup straw strainer, drain plug, cap and protective plastic orifice covers as shown. Tank filler sieve is not included. Tank is a direct bolt up to the 404S as equipped with two tanks and is easily adapted for other models. Tank caps may be marked either "Mercedes Benz" or “Diesel” in some cases. To our knowledge, diesel 404s were delivered to the Portuguese and to Indonesia, making this tank rather odd. Cap markings are our choice. Shipping of this item can be steep.
