Description: This is an unstruck 2 pounds coin. The edge lettering 'SO MANY IRONS IN THE FIRE' corresponds to the Brunel/ Paddington Station coin struck in 2006 - there were two 2 pound coins struck commemorating famed engineer Isambard Brunel that year, but each type had different mottos on the edge, so you can differentiate between the intended designs even if the obverse and reverse were unstruck. I purchased this piece on eBay about ten years ago and simply wish to sell it now to pursue other coins. The piece is essentially in New condition. Free shipping, see photos. Darker Shadow shown in center of Side A is simply an artifact of the limits of my camera and lighting system, actual coin center is similar to that shown in center of Side B.
