Description: Unitron Stereo Microscope Gem Scope LED Swivel.Excellent Mint / Like New Condition. Gemological Jewelers Scope LED Lights Swivel. Very nice mint condition quality gem-scope with dual variable intensity LED lighting and controls, used to inspect mounted diamonds & gemstones and to read the micro laser engraved certifications on diamonds. Gem-scope can be switched from 1x to 3x zoom which is more than enough to view any inclusions or characteristics of the gemstones and see micro engravings etched into a diamond. The eyepiece shafts will spread closer together or apart, as well as shift in or out to adjust for different viewers comfort. The eyepieces can also be focused individually and included rubber eye cups to help block out unwanted light. The top eyepiece assembly can swivel around giving different viewers the ability to see objective without changing places or it can be locked down into a single position. Two large focus knobs on either side allows the optics assembly to move up or down to focus. Also includes two different types of jewelry holders that can be rotated, moved in or out, up or down to help adjust to the objective. This is a quality instrument that if you have never used, will take some skill and patients to learn, but when mastered will be a great asset for any jeweler. The gem-scope will come with a dust cover and manual. Measures approx 10" wide, 12" depth and 15" - 22" tall depending on focus adjustment. All pictures are of the actual item for sale.
