Description: Here is another unusual badge of unknown origin. Bankers Dispatch Corporation filed for incorporation in Chicago in 1985. Proper paperwork was not filed on time, and the incorporation was forfeited. There are at least 3 companies with that name, one in Missouri, one in Massachusetts, and one in Michigan. The purpose of the corporation was to deliver time-sensitive materials. Apparently, they planned to identify their employees with badges, and a prototype was designed and made. I have never seen another one, so this one may be unique. Badge is hallmarked: MEYER&WENTHE, CHICAGO.
