Description: Up for bid is a small Indian solid cast silver Hindu ritual Ganesh idol. The piece is about 1 7/8 inches tall by 1 ¼ inches wide and weighs 74 grams. It is very simple and Ganesh has an elongated form. The foot is flat, with some light file marks. There are no marks; it does test as silver.NOTE: I am selling a large accumulation of Indian silver, some Hindu and some secular. Some pieces appear to be quite old, others seem newer. I am not an expert on Hindu practices or traditions; any errors in the descriptions are unintentional. Condition on the piece is fairly good. There is wear from use and handling, but no real damage. A fine silver idol.
