Description: United States Navy Officer Sword. No scabbard. This one has a damaged knot tied to the handle (portion of the knot has come loose). Marker marked on blade ricasso Wm. C. Rowland, Phila PA. Blade has engraving on both sides of blade. There is a lot of graying and wear to the blade. Most likely early 1900s era. Blade length approximately 28 inches and overall length about 33 1/2 inches. Very heavily worn condition.
