USAF Colonel 495th TFS Saudi Air Force F-5 Patch Wing EOD C-12A USMTM Checklist

Description: Auction for lot vintage patches, plaque description, familiarization checklist, & wing to Col William Edward Dunivant. Ed Dunivant served in the USAF and fought in Vietnam flying 252 missions in the F-100 Hun with 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing. He received a DFC for heroism in the extraction of a Special Forces unit. He flew a variety of aircraft including the T-37, T-38 and T-41. He later transitioned into the F-111 Aardvark and by the mid 1970's he was stationed at RAF Lakenheath with the 48th TFW and also with the 20th TFW at RAF Upper Heyford. He served as the base commander for RAF Lakenheath in his final assignment. The auction is for items from his time at Lakenheath. In addition to training Saudi AF pilots he also particiapted in Operation El Dorado Canyon. He was also stationed at HQ 3rd Air Force. He was in the Air Force from 1965-1988.1. Standard size USAF patch for the 395th Tactical Fighter Squadron. Patch is of the hook and loop type. Patch is approximately 4" in size. Shows rubbing on front from use.2. Royal Saudi Air Force Squadron Patch. Patch is approximately 5 1/2" in size. It was made in-country and presented to Colonel Dunivant while he trained Saudi Pilots in the F-5. This may be Squadron No. 15 but I'm unsure. It is the hook and loop variety.3. Royal Saudi Air Force Patch. Patch is approximately 4 1/2" in size. It is the Pilot Instructor Training Patch. It was made in-country. It is the hood and loop variety.4. Royal Saudi Air Force Loadmaster Parachutist Wing. Clutch back wing is approximately 3" in size. It was made in the US by Krew for the Saudi's. It is vintage 1980's.5. Flight Familiarization Checklist booklet for U.S.M.T.M. (United States Military Training Mission) Saudi Arabia. The Colonel and his team were on an Army C-12A transport. Laminated Checklist shows minor wear. Some edges bumps. Front has nice color logo. Interior two pages describe emergency procedures for egress and layout of interior for such. Back has map and flying time in Saudi Arabia.6. Plaque description from the 7008 EOD Flight to Col Dunivant. Has been removed from plaque. Has "It's Been a Blast!" at bottome. The 7008 EOD flight was based at RAF Lakenheath.Patches, Plaque description, wing, checklist/Familiarization book show normal wear tear associated with age. 495th TFS patch shows rubbing on front from wear. Saudi patches show minor use from wear. Wing is in overall very good condition. Familiarization book shows some creasing, edge bends from use. EOD plaque description shows signs of having been removed from plaque.
