Description: "Highway One Series guitars give you everything you need, nothing you don't! Their special low-gloss, satin lacquer finish allows the wood to "breathe" better, providing a warm, full tone with added sustain and clarity. Not unlike rare vintage instruments, Highway One Series guitars' neck finish feels immediately smooth and comfortable, like your favorite worn baseball glove. All that, and they look great too! Hand-made in Corona, California." -Fender The true hot rod of the Highway One series, the HSS Stratocaster guitar features an alder body and an Atomic humbucking pickup paired with two hot single-coil alnico 3 pickups. Other features include modern C-shaped maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets, vintage-style synchronized tremolo system, Greasebucket tone circuit and satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This guitar weighs 7LBS 12oz. This guitar is used in good shape! With the nature of the thin finish, there is some wear throughout the body. We've pictured it to our best ability, but nothing affects playability. Other than a few spots of finish wear, this guitar is in great shape and is playing well. The neck is smooth and has a beautiful rosewood fingerboard. This is an excellent entry into American made Fenders. Check it out today. It comes with a gig-case, sort of a soft-shell hardcase made by Harmony.
