Description: WWII USSR 1943 HAND MADE MUSEUM COPY Order Of VICTORY MUSEUM COPY , Factory production. The Order of Victory is the highest military order of the USSR, established on November 8, 1943 by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. In the entire history of the existence of the order was awarded only 15 persons. (Two people were deprived of the order, - the decree on their award was cancelled ( Leonid BREZHNEV and Michal Rola-Zhymersky). Three people were awarded the order twice ( Marshals G. Zhukov, A. Vasilevsky, I. Stalin ). 5 Awarded were not citizens of the USSR, these were Marshal Montgomery, general, Eisenhower, Marshall Rola - Zhimersky, King Michaud, and Marshall Tito. Of the 20 orders existing in nature, only 5 were not returned to the USSR Diamond Fund ( as prescribed by the statute of the order) , but are stored in museums of countries awarded ( USA, Great Britain, Yugoslavia ). The order of King Michai from his heirs, from the Polish Marshal Rola-Zhimersky, was taken away by the court (1952), but despite the cancellation of the sentence (1955), it was not returned.
