Vantage Brand {made by Samick} L-5CES copy, 1990's - Cherry Sunburst

Description: Offered is a Samick {made in Korea} produced for the "Vantage" brand. Has a Samick serial number. It has the dimensions of a Gibson L-5CES. "17 at the lower bout in a plain maple body and neck. Long scale, as they were during the classic period of the L-5 {post 1937}. Cherry sunburst finish with gold hardware. Sounds VERY good, both acoustic and electric. I believe the pickups are either Korean or Japanese, but they sound alright. Pots need hit with some de-oxit, their dirty from the guitar just sitting unplayed for sometime now. China hadn't entered the guitar manufacturing market yet when this guitar was made, so no Chinese junk parts or materials on this guitar. Frets are excellent, as my uncle had a re-fret done a few years before he passed and the action is low. No wear to the neck or body. No scratches or dents. One hell of a buy for the price. Hard shell case included.
