Description: VDIAGTOOL V200 Car Circuit Probe Tester is an electrical troubleshooting time-saver >>>If there is trouble without an obvious cause in any electrical component, test the circuit to find the cause. >>>But the electrical wiring in a car contains many interlinking and branching circuits, which bring complications. >>>What can this automotive electric circuit tester do for you? It is a more handy, useful and inexpensive tool for making electrical tests. Find shortcuts which save you a lot of time other than checking an entire circuit. Circuit testers diagnose and troubleshoot breaks in automotive electrical connections. >>>Product Features: DC voltage range: 0-65V; Resistance range: 0-100 kΩ; Rated current: 1-10 amps; Frequency response of sound passage: 0Hz to 10Khz. 4 working modes: DC voltage, AC voltage, Resistance and Diode Test. Identify voltage and polarity of the circuit. You can find out whether it is a positive or negative ground circuit and check how many volts is getting. You can test continuity of the wires and components, whether they are attached to or disconnected from the vehicle. Test the resistance of various sensors and issues and compare those values to the factory specifications. Activate and test components in your hands or inside the vehicle by supplying positive or negative circuits to them. 20FT extension cable allows you to work on semi trucks, trailers or any other long vehicles. Built-in light enables better working in darker spaces. 4 Working Modes - Simply Switch The Mode Button >>> ✔️ DC Voltage Test: DC voltage detects the voltage value of the circuit under test with a resolution of 0.1 volt. >>> ✔️ AC Voltage Test: AC voltage detects the Max. Voltage, the Min. Voltage and Frequency of the circuit under test. >>> ✔️ Resistance Test: Detect the resistance between the circuit probe tip and auxiliary ground lead. Determines whether an electrical circuit is complete or broken and if the resistance of a component matches the manufacturer's specification. >>> ✔️ Diode Test: Detect the operation of the diode assembly and determine if it is conducting. Display the actual forward voltage of the diode when its conducting current. >>>WARNING: Applying voltage to some circuits at will damage the electronic components of the vehicle. Kindly use the vehicle manufacturer's schematics and diagnostic procedures when testing. >>>NOTE: When power up this probe tester kit, press the power switch first, then contact the tip with the component, the operation life of power switch will be extended. This Automotive Power Probe Tester Can Do More Than A Multi meter >>> ✔️ Locate The Short Circuit: In most cases a short circuit wil appear by a blown fuse or an electrical protection device tripping (i.e., a circuit breaker). Use the probe tip to activate and energize each of the fuse contacts. The contact which trips the circuit breaker is the shorted circuit. >>> ✔️ Check Continuity: When this auto circuit tester is in Resistance mode, using the probe tip and the auxiliary ground lead, continuity can be tested on wires and components attached or disconnected from the vehide's electrical system. >>> ✔️ Activate Components: Activate and test components in your hands or inside the vehicle by supplying positive or negative circuits to them. Such as car lights, motors, windshield wipers, radiator fans, relay, fuel injector and other on-board electric equipments. >>> ✔️ Test Trailer Lights: When this circuit probe kit is in DC Voltage mode, clip the auxiliary ground lead to the trailerground, probe the contacts at the jack and then apply voltage to the probe tip. This allows you check the function and orientation of the connector and trailer lights. >>> ✔️ Find The Bad Ground: Probe the suspected ground wire or contact with the probe tip. If the circuit breaker tripped, this circuit is more than likely a good ground. Generate Activation Signals to the Tested Components >>>The activation test function is designed to generate activation signals to the tested components. Such as car lights, relay, fuel injector, motors and other on-board electric equipments. >>> ✔️ Activate Components in Your Hand When this power probe tester is in DC voltage mode, contact the probe tip with the auxiliary ground lead, the components will be activated in your hand, and test their functions. Steps to active the bulb: Press the power switch forward to activate the bulb. Contact the tip to the positive terminal of the bulb. Connect the negative auxiliary clip. >>> ✔️ Activate Components in The Vehicle When this electric circuit tester is in DC Voltage mode, contact the probe tip to the positive terminal of the component, the green LED should light up, indicating continuity with the ground. If the green LED went off at that instant or if the circuit breaker tripped, the tool has been overloaded. If the circuit breaker is tripped, wait for 15 seconds to reset the circuit breaker. >>> This could happen for the following reasons: What you are detecting is a direct ground. The component you are testing is short-circuited. The component is a very high current component (i.e., starter motor). Troubleshoot the Errors When Extracting DTCs From Vehicles >>>Once the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is extracted from the vehicle and you realize that troubleshooting starts with a sensor circuit, you can perform a quick test to verify the code. >>>Using alternating voltage mode, you can test sensors and signal circuits. >>>Do you suspect that there is something wrong with your sensor? Go to AC voltage mode and use the probe tip with auxiliary grounding lead. Contact the probe tip with the positive terminal of sensor. LCD reading shall be a sine wave under normal conditions. If the LCD reading is abnormal, the sensor is faulty Quick Self-test Quick self test to make sure it is working properly before you start using it. Press the power switch forward to activate the tip with a positive voltage. The red LED lights up and display the battery voltage. Press the power switch backwards to activate the tip with a negative voltage, the green LED should light up and the display will read 0.0V. Built-in Light When you power up the circuit probe tester, the 2 led lights on top of it will automatically turn on. This could be a very useful feature when working in darker spaces such a fuse box under the steering wheel, for example, without having to use a flashlight. 2 Charging Modes This power probe circuit can be powered by the car's battery or cigarette lighter, no extra battery or cable required.
