Description: This Very Large Royal Navy White Ensign is in excellent, little-used, vintage condition. Most likely from the 1970s or 80s Heavily stitched canvas hoist hem bearing several stamps including 12 BDTH (= 6 yard) Ensign and Stores issue no. 5714002. Traditionally panel stitched and measuring an impressive 18' x 9', a traditional Royal Navy '6 Yard' size, it comes with its original hessian rope, brass Inglefield clips, wooden headstock and six nickel eyelets so it's ready to fly or display.In excellent, barely-used condition. double thickness corners for additional durability, there's no tears or fraying at the Fly end and just a couple of small, light marks to the white fabric.
