Description: If you want something UNIQUE in your collection, this is it! This is for a Really Rare Trefoil Mustard Seed Charm from the 1950's. I have only seen 2 others of these. This one is larger than one of them I’ve seen. It is 1”x 1”. The ones I’ve seen are a dark green but this one is a lighter Green/Beige. It is made from plastic and is very nicely defined. It has a hole to put a jump ring on it. On the back is a small round clear plastic bubble with a tiny mustard seed loosely enclosed. The trefoil is in Excellent Used Condition and has been in a collection away from the elements for over 40 years. The Mustard Seed metaphor originates from the remarkable transformation of a small seed into a robust and steadfast tree. It symbolizes Growth, Dependence and Strength. There are many poems written for this seed but the one that I found relating to Girl Scouting is this one: “The lofty beauty of the mustard tree in full bloom from its tiny seed is a symbol of the power and loveliness that awaits your own development as a woman. Within you is a perfect self striving to unfold. With this unfolding will come all the joy and fulfillment you secretly long for as you find your own expression toward a better world” Please see the pictures for the condition and measurements. Sent in a plastic box- not the original one.
