Very Unusual Mayan Woman Gold Figure Encased in Lucite Paperweight

Description: This is a very unusual paperweight that I don't know anything about. It has a small gold figure Mayan woman encased in a lucite or acrylic block. There is some scratching and wear showing on this with a very small ding out of the top edge. The block is 2 1/4" x 7/8" and 2 3/8" tall. The little figure inside has writing on the base of her. One side says; 23.8-22.9 and the other side is foreign writing. I used google translate on the foreign writing and according to that it says; Virgin. This is a pretty unique piece, sorry I don't know more about it. I can't find another on eBay or anymore information on the internet. Please let the photos be the best description.
