Description: Up for grabs is an amazing and very rare pair of Viberg Country boots constructed with Horween waxed flesh leather with the classic Viberg double stitchdown on a Vibram commando sole. These are a UK/Canada size 8 on a 2040 last. I am an 8.5 Brannock and these fit me perfectly with some thicker socks so they run big for American sizes as do all Vibergs. Please know your Viberg size. If I were to hazard a guess, these have been worn about ten times by me, the original owner, as evidenced by the very minimal amount of heel drag. Superficial at best. There are no other signs of wear present. You must see these in person to appreciate the craftsmanship and the beauty of the Horween waxed flesh leather. Super thick, virtually indestructible. One of the toughest, most bad ass leathers out there. The 2040 last along with the constructed toe box and mock cap-toe give these a little bump and give off some 310 vibes. The double stitchdown, which is close to perfect, and the commando sole really harkens back to Vibergs logger roots. Seven brass eyelets and rawhide laces complete the look and functionality of these bad ass boots . If there was an impending apocalypse, these are probably the pair that I would reach for. Sorry, no original box included. I hate to part with these, but they just don’t get the attention they deserve and I’m sending my oldest off to college and could use the extra scratch in my bank account. My loss is your gain.
