Victorian 14K Pearl Fringe Day & Night Earrings

Description: A lovely pair of Original Victorian-era earrings. These earrings date from the late 1800s. They are crafted from 14K Yellow and Rose Gold. The earrings are day and night, meaning you can adorn the ear with the button tops alone or add the massive body for a very dramatic look. These earrings instantly reminded me of lockets. The body is an oval shape with a gold fringe at the bottom. The fronts of the body are decorated with applied fine gold work in Rose Yellow and green gold. They are applied to the body with a screw from the back. The tops of the bodies feature a romantic scrolling crown-like motif. The tops are button tops with a forward clasping ear wire. The ear wire can be opened to remove the button tops from the body. There are slightly illegible hallmarks. The earrings have been tested in multiple places as at least 14k. The earrings are in very good condition with no signs or repairs, simply normal wear. I do see one petal missing the flower pearl-adorned flower on the body and a couple of fringe is slightly bent.
