Description: Antique clothing button was produced in the late 1800s or early 1900s. The button is made of multiple materials, including an embossed brass center, a textured brass background, a tin band under the brass outer border, and a series of 6 paste jewels embedded around the center. There is a loop shank embedded in the tin backing. Please refer to the ruler pictured in the image for the exact button size. Overall condition: Solid VG+..... The button may have tarnished a bit with age, or have light surface wear -- but there are no chips, dents, or other more serious flaws. It is in very nice shape and will display quite well. My mom -- Nancy Moran -- was a longtime member of the National Button Society, plus was active in several local button clubs in New York.
