Description: Victorian Paper Art 3D Ladies Fashion Signed Framed Gold Gilt Gesso Wood 17.25" 17 1/4” x 14 1/4” x 2 1/2” 3 lb 9.8 oz Gorgeous framed and signed paper art piece. I don't know the age of this. It could be as old as turn of the century or somewhere around mid century. The art piece is unique and depicts Victorian ladies in their finest fashions. I believe it's somehow derived from "Godey's Fashions" The wooden frame on it's own is quite nice with it's decorative accents and gold gilt. This is eye catching in all the right ways! I photographed it in many different kinds of light to try and show it's beauty without reflections. It was challenging and it's safe to say the pictures don't do it justice. The piece is slightly loose from the frame and could be tightened in the back. There's some dust inside the glass section from it being loose. The matting has a little scuffing and the wood a little wear. Please see pictures for condition detail.
