VIDAL LOUIS 19th C. Ceramic Chalkware Walking Lion Sculpture Statue~Huge

Description: For auction is an antique signed Vidal Louis ceramic Chalkware standing walking Lion. Various measurements are pictured. The entire item shows normal signs of use, age, wear, display and handling consistent with its age of being over 100 years old. I believe it to be a 19th century manufactured beauty. It has several tiny to small dings, chips, scratches, touch up paint, even 1 small hairline fracture. The fracture mentioned is so small and non existent or important that I started to not mention it but I always want to be thorough as possible. The place in question doesn’t run far. When this large item is tapped, it DOES NOT sound cracked or broken. It sounds very solid. Examples of mentioned imperfections are pictured up close in the last few photos, please study them well prior to purchasing. Overall very nice beautiful work of art!
