Description: Up for sale is a lot of 5 Vietnam/Post Vietnam M1967,Lincloe Canteen Cover Nylon 70s. In terms of condition, it varies per cover. Many of them have small holes, paint stains, fading, and overall general wear. However based on looking at them I’d say most of them should still function like normal. Some canteen covers have no markings or visible dates but some do and have dates ranging from 72-73. Based of what I know the first 4 canteens are known as m1972 canteen covers. These were used very little if not not at all by US forces due to the war ending but did see some use by South Vietnamese forces till 1975. The bottom right cover with both horizontal and vertical stitches was not seen in Vietnam but would see use into the 80s. Overall the covers are still useable and can be used for anything from camping, reenacting, or just collecting. (Pictures go in order from top left cover to bottom right cover). More often then not I try to be very descriptive with my descriptions in order to help out customers and clear up any details. Additionally if I list a product I am not sure about, I will say so or write what I know. This is not a history forum or a “oh this and oh that”. I am not here to scam anyone and will describe or write what I know about the product. Unless you have a question about the product or concern about me listing the product very inaccurately, do not message me . I am not trying to scare anyone away but unfortunately there are people who think they know everything. Offers/ holding items: Due to the large amount of people that make offers and don’t pay or ask about holding items without paying, unless you have bought from me before, there is a chance I will not respond to these messages. Sadly while there are a few people who are genuine about these offers, there are simply too many people who ask for these and end up not paying. Additionally, I do check buyer feedback to make sure they do not have a history of not paying or scamming people.
