He looks similar to the antique Neapolitan Crechefigures I’ve seen, but I know he isn’t quite that old.All I’m sure of is that he is made with a terracottaclay head and extremities, and a cloth body. He appearsto be kingly, abet with a turban instead of a crown,wears a cape of black and gold, red wool felt pantsand the clothing is hand stitched. The pictures should give you the additional infoyou need, but feel free to ask questions or educate meabout him. While the doll doesn’t have any markings,the fabric is older and of good qualitybut I couldn’t hazard a guess at his age. Item shown is the actual item being sold.
