Description: This 1913 mugshot is from a San Quentin prison ledger, but bears the stamp of the Bureau of Identification in Tacoma, Washington. Perhaps he was extradited from one place to the other, or something. Anyhow it is an incredible image of a scruffy man with an incredible mustache, convicted of robbery, in the last days when parts of Washington and parts of California could still be called the "wild west". This guy looks like some bank robber or train bandit right out of an early silent movie. One of the nicest mugshots I have ever seen. It is on its own file card, which measures 6" x 6".
