Description: Up for bid is an original vintage pre-owned 1940s Aluminum Coca Cola 6 Pk Bottle Caddie Carrier by Action Manufacturing. Found at an estate sale of a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia. The carrier measures approximately 8-1/4" long, 5-1/2" wide and 6-1/4" tall with the handle down, 8-1/2" tall with the handle extended. Carrier without handle measures approximately 3-1/4" tall. On the sides is "Coke". Below the "Coke” on one side is "Action Manufacturing Co. Arkansas City, Kansas ." On the other side is "Made in U.S.A - Patent Applied For – Made in USA". Grant M Acton, a citizen of the United States, residing at Arkansas City, Kansas invented this bottle carrier and made application of it at the US Patent Office on May 6, 1946. The carrier is in very good condition with general wear from use and storage. No dings or dents. A great addition to any Coca-Cola collector and is perfect for adding a touch of nostalgia to any room and is sure to impress.
