Description: Vintage collapsing wire mesh egg, fruit, vegetable basket from Italy, stamped on the bottom of the little foot. Perfect as an egg gathering baskets or to wash and dry fresh veggies. The mesh is quite fine and collapses easily for storage. In great vintage shape, it exhibits typical age related tarnish and charm from use back in the day. Perfect for intended use or rustic kitchen decor. Picked up from an estate sale about 20 years ago and was told it was from the 1940’s.
