Description: Vintage Hardcover BLACK BEAUTY Book by Anna Sewell, Published by A. L. Burt Company of New York. On the spine, it says Home Edition. There are no ripped, missing, or torn pages. The red of the cover seeped through the back pages--please see pictures. The spine is in excellent condition. The previous owner wrote her name and Christmas 1943 on the inside page. There is no other writing. Most of the items that I sell are antique or vintage as as such they do show signs of patina, use, and age. That only adds to the character that so many collectors desire. If there are any major issues or defects, I try to describe them to the best of my ability and as accurately as possible.
