Description: This is a very nice vintage Outers rifle cleaning rod for .30 caliber. Vintage late 1950s or early 1960s. Three piece aluminum rod with two different patch tips, long and short. Will clean up to 28" barrel. Overall condition is very good. All pieces are original to the kit, all threads on all five pieces are clean and screw together smoothly. Black plastic handle features the Outers logo and has no cracks or chips. Vinyl pouch has no tears or holes and snaps closed properly. Very cool old piece of rifle kit that is ready to go into your collection or back into hard cleaning use. Purchased new by my grandfather, in my family for decades and ready to take a place in your cabinet. The photos are of the very cleaning rod kit you are bidding on, not a "similar" item.
