The sign is an authentic piece of advertising and is multi-colored on the typical off-white background. It was created in the United States and is in good condition with appropriate signs of age. It has some grime on it and a few pen marks. I typically do not clean off these genuine "symbols" of the life of such items; this is what makes vintage so desirable, that everything has a history. The sign is 14" long, about 4.75" wide and has a depth of about 3/4" . The top edge has a hole that was provided so that the piece could be hung securely. Obviously, it can be displayed by leaning it, and not necessarily hanging it on a wall. I think this is perfect for someone who works on car in their garage, or of course someone who has a business and is into collectible auto advertising.
