Description: Vintage Becker Mexico am / fm radio with correct “upside down” controls for a Porsche 356 application (signal seeker bar at top with high frequency channels on left). This early model Mexico was manufactured from mid to late 1950s and came from a 1959 Porsche 356. Includes original external amplifier (radio and amp serial numbers match 967380 though difficult to read). Chassis is nice – face and bezel are nice. Wiring harness is uncut. No outward sign of water damage. Includes both a 356 faceplate and an original Becker chrome plated rectangular faceplate (installed). The original plastic 356 faceplate is cracked. Includes original “football” shaped speaker – needs new paper. Working condition unknown and you should expect to have it serviced / rebuilt. Sold as is.
