You are looking at a Vintage 1960's Framus 5/57 Studio Archtop Acoustic Guitar. Framus was a german luthier, who produced many kinds of instruments during the golden age of German guitar making between the 50s and the 80s. Framus was known worldwide for their extraordinary quality and constant innovations when making guitars. This is the reason why people of all skill levels chose Framus guitars as their Instruments, they where easy to play, worth their money, pretty in design and well rounded with the German quality standard. ***CRACKED HEADSTOCK REPAIR***The Headstock was cracked and our luthier professionally repaired it. It is solid and tight. Stays in Tune. Stronger that when it was new. (See picture #13). Made In West Germany in the 1960's. Beautiful Cherry Sunburst Finish. Action is spot on. Plays, Sounds and Looks Great! Our luthier did a complete setup. Brand new strings were installed. Gig ready on Arrival! Nut Width: 1 5/8"Complete Package with Chip Board Case Included! Due to CITES Treaty for Endangered Wood (Mahogany, Rosewood) We no longer ship out of the USA. Cosmetics: Very Good Condition. Other then the aforementioned Head Stock Repair, this guitar is in great shape. Keep in mind that this is a 60+ year old vintage guitar that has been used. Normal wear and tear.
