Description: VINTAGE 1960s Hand Painted Red Apple Kitchen Set - Canisters & Napkin Holder This is a BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE kitchen set that includes 2 canisters and a napkin holder. The set is molded clay, and they are made to look like apples. They are hand painted in tones of red, green, yellow and brown. The canisters are labeled "sugar" and "tea" with applied clay letters. They both have lids that look like the tops of the apples, with leaves and a stem. The napkin holder also resembles an apple, and is painted in the same colors to match the canisters. The canisters are about 4.5 inches in diameter at the widest point are both 5.5 inches tall (including the lid handle). The napkin holder is 5.5 inches high and 5.5 inches long. It's 3.5 inches wide, so it can hold quite a few napkins. This set is AMAZINGLY MID-CENTURY, from the 1960s. It's the perfect addition to any mid-century decor! They are in VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION! There are no cracks, scratches or repairs. There is no discoloration. There are only 2 areas of chipping; both on the lid of the sugar canister. There are 2 very tiny flea bites and a larger chip on the rim and 4 tiny flea bites on the leaf (see last photo).
