Description: Vintage 1970's Fisher Price Little People Happy Houseboat #985 Complete and Original (Including People listed below from the 1976 catalog) except 2 chairs for the dining table and life preservers. This was first Little People playset intended for water. The lithographs on the boat and furniture were made of a special water-resistant type vinyl material that held up well when submerged. Houseboat Features: -Blue flat squared plastic flap that forms the upper deck lifts up and doubles as the houseboat carry handle -Whhels on Bottom to push/pull boat -Hole in front to attach a pull string -Captain's chair and steering wheel move when boat is pulled/pushed -Diving board on top deck pulls in & out with circle for little person -Yellow flag with spring pole -2 Pegs on each side to hold little people securely on boat deck -Small Blue and White 1-seat boat. Furniture: -Red large rectangular "picnic table" style table with a Lobster Dinner Litho on the surface. -Round plastic "backyard BBQ" style grill with handle. It has a lithograph on top depicting a steak, 2 hamburgers, and 2 hot dogs. Has a small plastic handle off to one side. 2 Yellow plastic slatted "beach" lounge chairs with short arm rests & backrest Figures: -Tall white captain wearing a blue cap with a M-shape above the bill. This is the first all plastic Little People figure made by Fisher-Price. -Blue mom with fancy eyes, and a blonde ponytail. -Red girl with a blonde bob -Yellow boy smiling, and wearing a red baseball cap facing forward. -Black dog with a red collar. The collar has spikes on the outside edges. Complete except no life peservers or dinner chairs.
