Description: Here we have the work of Pauline Trigére; coveted couture designer that made phenominal clothing from the 1950s to the early 2000’s. She was a master cutter, known for her elegant designs-she kept a relatively small company run by herself, focused on quality. In this beautiful 1980s creation, we have an illusionary floral print, made to look as if it is stitched into the dress. It’s continuous throughout- with a scalloped waist and hem. This has those great puff sleeves that are structured and a tad whimsical, & fit perfectly. The material is a light wool knit- something Trigére was known for, and lined in a light silk. Fits like a size S. In excellent condition, minimal wear. Her designs are seen in Breakfast at Tiffany’s! Union made, made in the USA.
