Description: Vintage 50s Nani of Hawaii Hawaiian Cotton Sundress Shaheen Style Boning sz XS/S This pretty vintage Hawaiian dress was made in the early days of Hawaii's statehood during the 1950s. Maker is Nana of Hawaii. It is constructed from colorful cotton. The bust has a couple of strips of boning in it. The shoulder straps fasten in back with a button and there are a couple of button holes so you can adjust the length. This dress fastens in back with a vintage Talon zipper. The elastic in the back of this dress has lost a lot of its stretch so make certain measurements are aligned with your own. The dress had also been hemmed a couple of times by the previous owner so we let out both hems. It now has a small 1/2" hem that is just pressed into place, not sewn down. SEE LAST PICTURE. It stays there quite well, but you'll want to stitch it to secure the hem. There's also one small, crumb sized hole in the skirt near the hem. Overall, it's very pretty and if measurements align with your own, it will look great on you! Measurements conform to a contemporary size extra small to small.
