Description: Antique Alpaca Mexico Silver Cake Server My parents and our family lived in Mexico City from 1963-1966 and this Alpaca Mexican Silver Cake Server was purchased at that time, which is why I can speak to the age of the server. Growing up, our house was filled with Mexican furniture, knick knacks, blown glass lamps and the like. It was actually filled with treasures from South American, Mexico and the Caribbean! Fond memories to say the least.This cake server has a bird with a nest of her chicks.There is some minimal tarnish on the piece as one would expect with such an old piece.The wood handle is hand carved and sits snuggling in the silver base. It has sat in my china cabinet for 30 years, which is such a shame that it has barely seen the light of day.
