Description: Vintage 80s AJ Bari Peach Silk Beaded Dress sz 12 This gorgeous 1980s special occasion dress was designed by AJ Bari who was known for their elaborating beaded clothing in the '80s. The fabric is a patterned peach silk that has been embellished with beads and sequins in Art Deco looking motifs. The skirt looks wrap style, however the dress actually fastens in back with six buttons on the back torso and a zipper from the waist down through the seat. In classic '80s style, the dress has a generously cut chest with dolman sleeves and shoulder pads that are removable. The dress looks beautiful, but could use a light professional cleaning to look its best. There are a couple of faint yellowish spots in back near the hem as well as a crumb size spot that may be grease, also near the hem. On the right shoulder, there's a tiny brownish speck. None of them are glaring. See photos for a visual description. Original size was 14, but it fits more like a contemporary size 12.
