Description: Large Lot of Adams Ming Toi Calyx Ware 61 Piece Dinner Set. Made by Adams, Member of the Wedgwood Group, – c. 1970’s. Pick-Up Only in the Danbury, CT area. The Dinner Set is decorated with a lovely Prussian Blue and Tortilla Brown colored Oriental Pattern on Celadon Blue Ground. Micratex, Real English Ironstone. The nature of Celadon Blue glazing on the “Real English Ironstone” is such that the coloration can vary to some degree from piece to piece depending upon the batch it was produced with. Also, body shapes can have minor variations which is to be expected. All of the pieces in the Dinner Set are in very good condition with virtually no chips and minimal wear (one Cereal with nibbles on edge & one Dessert with teeny black line of edge - not noticeable unless looking). Crazing is present on some pieces which is common for Calyx Ware.
