Description: For sale is a vintage Lamb of God wax sacramental. This item, which contains a tiny piece of blessed wax on the front of this devotional keepsake, measures approx. 2" wide by 1 1/2" high. The actual tiny piece of wax under the red cross threadsmeasures only 3/16" wide. The front has "Agnus Dei" written on it which translates from Latin to "Lamb of God." The reversehas a picture of Jesus and Mary and the words translate from French to "Our Lady of Mount Carmel." The wax relic and picture are both covered and protected with plastic.The Agnus Dei wax relic is a very thin slice of wax and blends into the gold background, so it's difficult to see, but it's thereunder the red threaded cross. Please notice how small this item is next to the picture with the penny- it is small and light in weight. The red holder is soft and may be leather or faux leather.This item is vintage and has a lot of age and wear including discoloration, and the leather on the Agnus Dei side has stretched and sagged.Please see photos for details.Thank you for looking!
