We picked up a pretty large collection of slide from the 1960s to the early 1970s several years ago and just put them in one of the closets in the house. We got the collection form a lady who worked for and retired from the Red Cross. She moved to Korea before the Korean War and before it was split into North and South Korea. She later moved to Vietnam during the Korean War before moving back home to the states and retiring from the organization. There are some really cool slides in here of some from throughout North Africa, Asia and the United States. For sale is a 35mm slide from August 1963 of a couple of totem poles in Ketchikan, Alaska.Its a great shot of two of the totem poles and makes one wonder if they're still standing today.The slide is in excellent, undamaged condition and ready to be turned into a photograph if desired.PLEASE NOTE: Our lighted table doesn't have a very strong light, so the slide isn't as bright as it is when lit by a stronger light, such as in a projector. However, the slide is quite a bit brighter than shown in the pictures. This slide will be shipped in a padded envelope via media mail with the USPS.
