Description: Complete mid century chess set designed by Austin Cox for Austin Enterprises from 1966. The pieces are brushed aluminum. One set is brushed aluminum on all sides, the other has a brushed copper finish on two sides of the pieces. Absolutely beautiful and comes in the original box with acrylic slide. Box can be mounted on the wall for display. Set and pieces are in great shape but show natural wear from age. Box measures 18” long, 5.5” tall and 1.5” deep King piece measures 2” tall, .75” wide and .75” deep Pawn piece measures 1.5” tall, .75” wide and .75” deep
