Description: One vintage Bear Archery Kodiak recurve circa 1965. RH, 44#, 60", Serial # 5L2371. Bubinga riser with accent stripe. Original leather plate. Aftermarket felt rest. Coin replaced with Canadian nickel, which is worth a little more than 4 cents. Old filled quiver holes suggest bow has been refinished. Glass riser overlays. Olive grey glass limbs with typical stress lines. Laminated tip overlays. Impact area to glass lower facing limb. Unlikely to ever delaminated, but does need some superglue. Glass groove upper facing limb near tip. Not sure how it got there, but it also suggests bow was refinished as it is pretty smooth. Old sticker "Turk Lake Archery Range" which I think is in Michigan. Anyway, not a $400 bow anymore. See my other bows.
