Description: Incredible unique vintage sign! "Before you go..." - Funeral Sign? Store Sign? General State or Federal Park gentle reminder sign? Its original purpose is shrouded in a bit of mystery. It's possibilities are wonderful and limited only by your imagination! Nice roughed up patina. This hasn't been cleaned up. There's what looks to be paint residue and marks from living one chapter of its life as a scrap backer in a shop / artist studio. Sticker on back identifies that it's was made in December 1987 by Ojo Caliente Craftsmen in New Mexico. They produced many signs for the US Forestry Service. This was sourced in Colorado. 24" x 18" x .75" thick. Weighs about 7.5 pounds. Thick plywood with reflective sign material layer applied. Condition: See pictures. It's got some great wear and tear from age and past uses. There's a small chip from the back of the plywood up by the id sticker. It's not visible from the front.
