Description: This is vintage royalty if you know you know . This was made when Blaupunkt was at its peak . They used to come with Blaupunkt stereo in Porsche for a good reason back then . Amp works amazing . Model is MPA 500 it is 2 ohm stable at 2 channels or you can bridge it and it drops down to 1 channel and 1 ohm stable at 500 watts . If you wanted that deep tone . I’ve been keeping it tucked away safe in my closet for years but I did test it before listing . 2 of the screws had to be replaced because I was running mono and can’t find them So 2 of the screws are silver instead of gold . Other than that this thing is a beast . If you run really good Mid bass drivers like JL ZR or similar then I highly suggest this . It can run 1 ohm stable or 2 and can be used for subwoofers but trust me I’ve never heard mid bass sound so good with any other amp . But if you have small subs or a single small 6.5 or 8” woofer in a large tuned at like 33 HZ or 34 HZ low frequency ported box and wanted a clean sounding reliable stable 1 ohm amp to run it perfectly then this is for you . If you know you know I figured anyone who knows about car audio would see this and know how to use it best but I just wanted to explain it because I didn’t want someone who’s trying to push large subwoofers that demand tons of wattage to buy this and then not be happy with it . This amp has its 2 perfect uses at least in my opinion so I just wanted to explain what that was . I hate to let this go after having it with me for so long but it’s time for someone else to enjoy it now .
