Title page is date 1939 but copyright date is 1921 so I am confident this is not a first edition. Book is in overall good condition but I am not a professional appraiser of books and therefore my opinion is no guarantee of quality. Book is hardcover and exterior of book only shows normal wear and tear to the cover and spine. There is no dust jacket. Corners of front and back cover are showing wear but nothing too serious. Previous owner wrote their name in pencil inside of front cover. Binding appears to be strong with no signs of breaking down. All pages appear to be present with no dog-eared, tears, mildew or signs of water damage. This is a great book just waiting to be read!
