This listing is for a vintage triple band ligature. It is unmarked, but I am positive this was made by Brilhart. They made a variety of triple band ligatures over the years, some of which were branded with their name, and some not. This is one of the more basic designs they used. It does not have the epoxy screws or plastic reed plate. It does, however, have the very thick brass screw bars, and it is made of very heavy gage sheet metal. It is a very robust design, although for some reason they put really dinky screws on these (this one does have the originals). This is an 'inverted' style ligature, meaning it is to be positioned with the screws at the top of the mouthpiece. It is designed for Bb soprano clarinet mouthpieces but might also fit some slimmer alto sax pieces. This ligature is in excellent used condition. It has not been bent out of shape, and there are no cracks or other damage. The screws work properly, but they are not original. They are silver colored rather than gold.
