Description: I've tried to google this and one sold at auction claiming it to be A Chinese Shiwan-glazed fish-form vessel 19th century or earlier. I really don't know the age of this. It is marked on the bottom if you can read Chinese symbols. I can make out the word China. It is a white glaze over dark pottery and has several glaze misses here and there and in the first picture you can see where a piece had chipped and reglued on the inner wall of the center hole area. It's about a 1 1/2"piece glued back on. I never noticed it until I was downloading pictures. I've had it almost 30 years now. I probably purchased it from an estate. The bottom back appears to be either a manufactured flaw or intended to be somewhat flattened or it was chipped in the glazing process because there are specks of the white glaze in that flattened area. It had a greenish PC of fabric glued to the bottom to prevent scratching furniture, which I removed to find the mark. It can be reglued to the bottom, but I suggest you get a fresh piece of thicker fabric to protect your furniture and use this piece of fabric as a pattern. Unboxed it weighs approx. 6 pounds, and I will want to double box it. Please see photos for actual item and condition. I will combine shipping when you purchase multiple items at the same time. To do so, add items to your ebay cart, then when done shopping please click on "request total from seller" then scroll down and click on commit to buy and submit request, Thank you. Please ask questions before bidding. I post feedback after you have received and posted feedback. Thank you for looking.
